Our mission
Sagen was founded on a simple observation: the world runs on location data, but the tools to work with it haven't kept up. Enterprise teams still wrestle with fragmented GIS stacks, manual data pipelines, and collaboration workflows that belong in the last decade.
We're building the spatial infrastructure layer - a single platform where teams can collaborate on geospatial data with the same fluency they expect from modern developer tools.
What we build
Sagen is a GIS collaboration and analytics platform, delivered as SaaS with an on-premises deployment path for organizations with strict data sovereignty requirements. Our flagship product, Polis, is an enterprise-grade address cleansing and geocoding engine that processes millions of records in seconds.
Our principles
Precision matters
Spatial data underpins critical decisions - from emergency response to urban planning to supply chain logistics. We build for accuracy first and optimize for speed second.
Open by default
We support open standards (OGC, GeoJSON, GeoParquet, STAC) and open-source ecosystems. Interoperability is not a feature - it's a requirement.
Teams, not individuals
GIS work is inherently collaborative. Every feature we ship is designed for teams - with branching, versioning, access controls, and audit trails built in from day one.
We're backed by mission-aligned investors who share our belief that spatial infrastructure is a foundational layer of the modern data stack.
